Description
A friend of mine gave me some poplar after she had to cut down a tree in her back yard. I have to say it’s produced some of the most gorgeous pieces in terms of wood grain. There is lots of high contrast between the light heartwood and the dark sapwood, and this piece was designed to show that off.
The title comes from the official geometric name of the shape: a hyperboloid.
It will hold up to a 3″ diameter jar or pillar candle. It measures 4″ tall. Candle not included.
