Description
This piece is a balance of symmetry and quirkiness. Both the cocobolo and the tauari have similar grain, but in this piece I’ve rotated them 90 degrees to give it kind of a sine wave feel – the grain lines of one continue the grain lines of the other in a complementary fashion. The profile itself balances this with a symmetry of shape along with the burn lines top and bottom.
